I’ve gained weight! Or bought weight, to be correct. For my ankles, 2.5 kg each. Lately I’ve felt that I’ve gotten stronger around the core and my legs need a bit of a challenge in order for the exercises to keep paying off. Resistance training per definition means that you need to have the body resisting a pressure, and when you’re body is stronger than the actual pressure it makes it purely physically effortless and rewardless. It’s like chewing water! You need to get your bite on! And the ankle-weights are a good option when it comes to running up the stairs, kicking or simple abdominal exercises at home. A function similar to the weight-vest I’ve mentioned before.
