After the success of the ”Sin City” movie-adaptation, its now time for another of Frank Miller’s comic-books to be turned into a motion picture! Its his slightly distorted account of the battle of Thermopylae, where King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought the 100 000 strong Persian army lead by Xerxes the Great King. The movie is yet to be seen and then reviewed, but already from the graphic novel and the pictures available from the movie to judge you can see that Miller’s imagery of the Persians as tribal Africans is far from Herodotus’ account of the historic event!http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/
