The 22 year old Swedish Erik Hassle’s international career has been launched, while he has barely established himself as a popstar in his home country! His debut album got a very needed touch-up for the internationalisation and the new versions of the songs are starting to work the countrymen better than the originals managed to do. There is a certain song which’s made-over version I really enjoy, its called “Standing Where You Left Me”. While the original track sounded unfinished and undefined the new version comes with a 80’s electro touch which lifts the song and nods nostalgic songs like a-ha’a “Take On Me”! I can’t stop myself from tapping the air-synthesizer keys with my finger tops, when those segments are being played! Exhilarating!
