Madly in love with Jessica
And so did the 4th season of Mad Men end, leaving me deeply infatuated with the gorgeous Canadian actress Jessica Paré who plays Don’s secretary Megan on the show.
Thankfully the finale ended in a way that it assured me, and the rest of the mad fans, about a recurring role for Megan even in the next season!
Rubikcubism
The French street artist Space Invader (Invader X) whose pixel inspired art on the walls of the world’s city streets is no longer regarded as vandalism, further establishes his serious reputation by developing what he likes to call “Rubikcubism”. The term says it all, its impressionism using Rubik cubes as medium!
Eva takes over control
The Dutch songstress Eva Simons, the daughter of the 90’s Euro-DISCO diva from Slammer, had her debut song “Silly Boy” leaked and mislabelled on youtube as “Rihanna feat Lady Gaga” a couple years ago! Sure, there is a lot about Nina Simons that reminds and has probably been influenced by Rihanna’s looks and style. But I can’t help but to like Eva’s voice better, as it reminds me a bit of Kim Wilde’s voice! Especially in the hot-from-the-oven video for Afrojack’s “Take Over Control”.
Pissed and padless
Almost half a year has past since iPad’s launch and while almost the entire rest of the industrial world are able to enjoy the magic of the tablet, Sweden remains padless! No official date is being set and Apple Sweden wont even speculate! This means that I still haven’t bee able to get myself one. Of course, there are ways, easy ways, to import from UK but from what I’ve heard from those who have, there are still difficulties with the network adaptability in Sweden. Not to mention the absence of the essential letters Å,Ä and Ö. Thus, I’m pissed and padless!
By the way, that’s what I call product placement!lol

Pourya’s power potion
Like I’ve said before, try to avoid any kind of processed products in your training diet. That means powders, bars and drinks. These were the main reasons for my metabolism going out of function last time, by overloading the body with substance not completely healthy for the body. Resulting in me having to turn vegetarian in more than a year in order to recover my body which couldn’t even handle the lowest levels of protein anymore! So now I go all natural, here is a recipe for a drink I mix for myself:
Ingredients: Oatmeal 1 dl, Cottage cheese 250 g, Sugar-free fruit syrup 1 dl, Mashed linseeds 1 dl, Low fat milk 2 dl, Water 1,5 dl, Fresh or frozen berries 50 g, Pinch of cinnamon
Contains (approximately): Protein 55g, Fat 18g, Carbohydrates 41g, Calories 550 Kcal
Just put all ingredients in a mixer and enjoy the kick!

Ladies check your time, 80’s style! I love the color combinations of this one, but it also comes as black and gold editions from EOS. As a mixtape lover I’m fascinated by the mixtape mania that is currently going on!
The crown prince
“Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” has just been premiered in Europe and I reserve my thoughts about the sequel to one of history’s most influential films ’til I’ve seen it. It remains to be seen whether this turns out to be a catastrophically failing capitalisation on the legacy of a classic or it is a long-overdue and worthy successor to the throne of a dynasty! Either way, I love the concept of the movie and the trailer bodes well with Shia LaBeouf hampering his annoying brat character in a role that for once fits him like the tailored suits he wears in the movie.
On a side note, the Wall Street movies are along with the Oceans trilogy among the top men’s fashion product placement productions of Hollywood. In my book Shia looks the part of a modern yuppie puppy, even a “shaazdeh” and the poster (which I compare above with a royal Qajar portrait, just to prove my point) is the ultimate epitome of the saga and symbolism of a royal succession!
A new peacoat for the cold
You can never get enough of some timeless classics, such as good old peacoats. Each year with a tiny trendy detail added to the traditional design. An unnecessary necessity! I’m eyeing a couple right now, one is this moleskin beauty with that distinct line of yellow.

We have seen more and more of such so called leaked or hacked self-shots from high-profile artists lately, those who seek that extra attention but can’t go all the way and leak out full-length sex-tapes, like the socialites such as Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian who basically have no actual talent and nothing to lose! Other artists whose nude pics have “leaked” lately are Paramore’s otherwise-considered-conservative Hayley Williams (posted on her Twitter and removed just a quickly) and Kesha’s post-act pics.
